Editing Mode:
The control points of all vertexes in the path are displayed on the canvas. There are four types of vertexes:
- Corner Vertex:The path will have a sharp corner at the vertex position, which is represented by a white control point.
There is no adjustment point;
- Smooth Vertex:The path will have a smooth transition at the vertex position, which is represented by a green control point.
There are two adjustment points;
- Symmetric Vertex:The path will have a smooth transition at the vertex position, which is represented by a blue control point.
There are two adjustment points;
- Free Vertex:The path will have a smooth transition at the vertex position, which is represented by an orange control point.
There are two adjustment points;
Drag the control points to move the location of the vertex, and click these control points to select the vertex. The following operations can be performed on the selected vertex (select from the context menu): delete the vertex, change the vertex type (corner, symmetry, smooth, free).
If the selected vertex is not a corner vertex, two additional adjustment points will be displayed near the vertex. Drag these adjustment points to adjust the path shape at the vertex. If the path is not closed, double-click the first vertex to close the path. Click the left mouse button in the blank space on the canvas to add a vertex, and drag the left mouse button in the blank space to add a smooth vertex.
You can also perform the following operations on the path (select from the context menu): reverse, close, and open.
